here's the not-so-fine print regarding awesome things like copyrights, comments, content acceptance and other lovelies. all of these policies are upheld, and stated here for your reference. by contributing to The Smashbook, you agree to comply with these policies.
- Copyright policy: As the sole owner of thesmashbook.com, I am responsible for the content posted. When hosting posts by other contributors, I will run at least two sentences worth of the post through CopyScape to verify authenticity. If the guest post contains pictures, the guest post author assumes the risk of photograph attribution. I am not held responsible for the attribution of photographs in contributed posts by others.
- Content Acceptance policy: guest posts are accepted by contributors. absolute maximum 1,000 word count. post must be emailed to me in .txt format and the contributor's post will be checked for authenticity using CopyScape.
- Comments policy: Comments are allowed on this blog. I do not allow swearing of any kind, racial slurs or personal attacks. Promotion of more than one link per comment is not allowed. If this policy is violated, the comment(s) will be deleted. Comments are moderated on posts older than fourteen days. They will be posted after I have allowed them.
- Email Management policy: I get emails from readers every day. I do try my best to respond to most emails. I do respond to all sponsorship inquiries personally within two days.
- A note on personal privacy: Please keep in mind that this is a personal blog. I blog elements of my life that I choose to share. As a reader, you get a glimpse of what happens in my life. Remember that I'm only sharing a sliver of the story, and that it is my sliver to share. Anyone that is found releasing personal details about me or anyone associated with The Smashbook will be banned from the site. Let's keep this a happy place, please!
